Art + Animals

April 4, 2018

The Art Store will be mounting a new exhibition opening April 10, 2018 to support Prevention of Cruelty to Animals month. We have asked interested artists from the region to submit works that include pet or animal imagery. A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be given to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Society. This group exhibition features over 70 artists and 100 works in a variety of media.

The public is invited to a reception honoring all of the artists on Thursday, April 19, 5 to 8 pm, in conjunction with April Downtown Charleston ArtWalk.

The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association is committed to saving the lives of animals through sheltering, adoption, foster care, spay and neuter programs, cruelty prevention, and community outreach. Please help them continue their mission to help animals and visit their website to find out more about Fix Charleston, volunteering, animal services and all of the other services they provide. These services are provided to the region, not just Charleston. The Association web address is https://www.adoptcharleston.com
